Who is responsible for your information
Steve Foster is a sole trader trading as Steve Foster Art and is the controller of personal information used by the business. Privacy enquiries may be sent to steve@stevefosterart.co.uk.
Information collected
If you contact Steve by email or submit the website enquiry form, the information you provide may include your name, email address, telephone number, delivery information and the content of your enquiry. If you purchase a work, transaction, payment and delivery records will also be retained.
Why information is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, provide information about artworks, arrange viewings, administer purchases and delivery, maintain financial records, protect legal rights and meet legal obligations. The usual lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business.
Who receives information
Website form submissions are processed by Formspree and delivered to Steve Foster Art. Information may also be processed by service providers used for business email, website hosting, secure storage, professional advice, payment, artwork delivery and privacy-conscious audience measurement. They receive only the information needed for their role. Personal information is not sold. Where a provider processes information outside the United Kingdom, Steve Foster Art relies on the safeguards made available by that provider under applicable data-protection law. Formspree’s handling of form submissions is described in its privacy policy.
Retention
General enquiries that do not lead to a purchase are normally retained for no longer than 24 months. Records relating to sales, payments, tax and legal obligations may be retained for up to six years, or longer where the law requires it or an active dispute makes this necessary.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction on the use of your information, object to certain uses, or request transfer of information you supplied. Cookies and external content
The site uses cookie-free, privacy-conscious audience measurement and does not use advertising analytics. YouTube videos are not loaded until you choose to play them. Further information appears in the cookie notice.
